Allan Recht is Vice President of the Institutional Division for Horan Capital Management.
Allan grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later went to college at the University of Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Eastern European Relations. After undergraduate school Allan earned his Masters Degree in International Business in Finance and Economics from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale Arizona.
Allan began his financial services career with Robert W. Baird & Co as a Vice President where he worked as a broker for 10 years. In 1989 Allan wanted to get more experience in investment management and joined the Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company as a Vice President in Personal Trust Sales, advising high net worth clients about estate and investment planning. He later became Director of Financial Services for M&I Trust overseeing the sales department as well as developing numerous financial services products that appealed to a diverse group of M&I customers. Allan also served on the Management Committee for M&I Trust & Investment Management. Allan later moved to Florida where he worked for State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) in Naples Florida and Fleet Private Client Group in Boca Raton Florida. In 2001, Allan joined Fisher Investments, as Vice President in their Private Client Group. IN 2006 Allan joined Horan Capital Management as Vice President and Regional Director for the Southeastern Region in charge of Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Allan has a long and distinguished career working with high net worth individuals advising them on investment and estate planning issues. Allan lives in Boca Raton Florida. He has two sons Matheau and Evan.
