John Heinlein is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Horan Capital Management. As a portfolio manager he is responsible for individual and institutional advisory accounts. Investment decisions are made from the research conducted by John and his analysts.

John helped to establish Horan Capital Management at the firm’s inception in 1995. He has assembled the firm’s investment staff and established the firm’s investment process. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with American Express Financial Advisors in the personal advisory division beginning in 1991.

John has been quoted in various financial publications including Barron's and Bloomberg News.

He received his B.S. in Business Management from the University of Baltimore.
