Matt Rockstroh

Background:
Matt oversees all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the firm, focusing on strategic planning and development, financial forecasting and analysis as well as enhancement of the client experience, review of and ongoing monitoring of all policies and procedures, improved risk management, and development of greater efficiencies across the firm.
Matt joined HCM with over 26 years of experience in the investment management business. He was a Regional Director and Senior Vice President with the Institutional Asset Management Group in charge of the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Region at PNC Bank. He oversaw the retention and acquisition of institutional clients while managing over 50 professionals throughout the region. Matt was also a Managing Director for PNC Capital Advisors, the registered investment advisor subsidiary of PNC Bank. Prior to that, Matt was a manager with the Wealth Management Group in Greater Maryland and Manager of the Client Administrative team for both Institutional and Wealth Management for PNC Bank. He received his B.A. in Business Management from Gettysburg College.
Personal:
Matt and his wife, Beth, live in the Phoenix, Maryland area and have three children, Allison, Matthew and Olivia. When he has free time, he enjoys playing soccer, watching his kids play sports, coaching his kids in sports, cooking/grilling, and visiting his son at college.
Fun Fact:
First name is only Matt not Matthew and he has a lifelong goal to get in the Guinness Book of World Records (has yet to figure out how).
